Gossip I remember the telephone game Where you whisper something to a friend Who whispers to another friend and after a few rounds The message had morphed to an outrageous story. Inevitably the message becomes tinged. Is there such thing as positive gossip? Do where share the grave, the bad, the drama Seeking a reaction or affirmation? Parceling the line of truth with Exaggeration---leaves room for desperation. I silently promise to share, to clarify And encase my words with care. I don’t want to be the source of gossip.
