Social norms, learned in Kindergarten. My son’s new apartment complex in West Seattle— new ways of living in collective spaces for social and economic reasons.  Shared singular lives, ruled by apartment choices.  Small spaces- Shared cooking areas, a run for the dog.  Rent by-laws. We voluntarily respect economic will that becomes law. No voting, just a tacit acceptance with the pocket book.  Laissez-faire, the free economy. And it works—hmm, individuality.
