A Fine Mess--Gradation I hear the words of my conscious “This is a fine mess you’ve made for yourself.” I wonder if the play on words gives me justification To fail, to find another way, to see differently. I remember the mess of cooking where every pot and pan is stacked in the sink. Isn’t it great to cook for others, to put forth the effort? Of course, now I clean up as I go. My baking, chopping, and washing skills are synchronized. But when I’m with my grandkids I say, “Baking is messy fun to enjoy.” Clutter means that the kids are having fun, But the bins are for retrieving the mess To enjoy another time. The mess of life- Well, it isn’t easy to control, As we don’t live in isolation. Relationships need some mess It is ours to distinguish the Gradation. I wish you all a fine mess.
We have all made a mess of things. I believe that gives us depth. You can find me at http://www.abberolnick.com, I'd love to hear from you.
