Assemble
Come together, right now.
A life
A person
A group
The table
Where we will sit
Divergent pieces—
The pull of love, passion, caring
Draws one to another.
then there are three.
The daily rituals move around
Dance between old, and new steps.
Some don’t fit.
Each day begins anew
And yet remnants of the past
Dangle loose with nowhere to go.
Tangent time passes.
Rituals become traditions
And the table is too small.
The base has grown weak
With use, aged.
Constant renewal isn’t enough.
Size and shape change.
To come together
Begins at the base.
The key to assembly
Is the foundation
Of expanse.
A reconfiguring of ideas,
materials, steps,
where love expands
and guides.
You are always welcomed at my table. I loved to connect at http://www.abberolnick.com
