Let your aroha carry you further
I close my eyes and envision.
The image of a healer.
Our foreheads touch as do our noses.
So close are we that our breath merges
I sink into the earth and rise above the universe.
Connecting as I move through the cosmos.
The world tilts when realities collide
Opinions fall from the sky
Morphed into anger, fear, grief, and loss.
Cancer, death, accidents—continue
As do births, marriages, the rising of the sun.
Cycles where our single moments can
Light without fire, the phosphorescence
Of kindness, love—the Māori aroha.
Let this warmth glow with each touch,
Kindled from within, to guide me forward.

I'd love to hear you thoughts and share my other works.
