Flash
Quick as a lick
Lightening, and I count to seven
As if heaven
Would answer my call
Across the skies
Through the air
Aerial waves unseen

So much of life is invisible
Impactful
And yet the flash of time
Carries lives through centuries
Creates and extinguishes
Fire with flames that warm
And comfort
All the while destroys.
Flash
A glimpse of shooting stars
Across the hemispheres
Light the way
Colorful display
Even as I blink through tears
A rainbow appears

I'd love to hear about the flashes in you life. Contact me at http://www.abberolnick.com
