Even when I'm standing still, I'm moving.

I felt the waves of sound travel through my toes to my head.
The sweet tones took me far away to times past.
Each note pulled me further along,
To a path worn with history.
Each century rung through my veins.
I pulsed the upheavals, the loss in wars.
The higher notes trilled with vibrations,
Pleading for peace.
Echoes bounced along malleable walls.
Ricocheting back through to slow my heart,
Till my stilled body felt
The embrace of humanity and the
World became the belly of the Buddha
