Underwear
Beneath the neat veneer of costumes
Fitted or billowed,
Muted or embellished,
Bare skin
Wears no sin.
For the bottom cushions
And the top jiggles
Like my thoughts
Soften with giggles,
I philosophize,
Villainize, and capitalize.
There is more to what you see,
For underneath
I lay myself bare.
And sometimes refuse,
Underwear.
